A “Prosperous” New Year

I do realize that I have been idle since before the holidays, but there has been a great deal of activity surrounding the transition into 2011, hence my silence on this front. However, as a theme I have been considering the dreams and aspirations that many of us are thinking of as a new year begins. We want to improve upon the past year, which is of course, the very reason so many of us made “resolutions”…

Are you determined to be more successful in 2011? Let me point you to the wisdom of John Calvin:

How do we as Christians battle against the sinful pursuit of success, wealth and power that the world pursues?
